About

Debate Club was the second club to be founded in Gayaza High School after Interact Club. It is about promoting intellectual arguments through the various debate formats students are educated about.
Through this, students improve their research skills, public speaking skills, confidence and self-esteem.
Furthermore, they acquire knowledge about the various debate formats like the Karl Popper, British Parliamentary and Traditional Debates.
From these debate formats, members learn how to argue out their views according the necessary respect to their opponents and yet not giving up to their sides, in addition to this, Debate Club promotes our motto, “NEVER GIVE UP” as members keep going until they are winners.
