O'level Curriculum
Everyone deserves a chance to shine, whatever their interests and passions. That is why we deliver a balanced curriculum, where choice is central, and the individual learner is given priority.
The new Lower Secondary Curriculum (LSC), implemented in Uganda in 2020, focuses on a competency-based approach to education, emphasizing skills and knowledge application over rote memorization. It aims to develop students who are self-assured, responsible citizens, lifelong learners, and positive contributors to society.
The curriculum is designed to equip students with 21st-century skills like critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration.
