Gayaza High School Hosts FAO Delegation

Today we were honored to host a delegation from the Foods and Agricultural Organisation (FAO)-Rome, who are on a tour of Uganda. We partner with FAO in green house and piggery farming. FAO donated a green house and 16 piglets to our farm last year and this has greatly contributed to the development of our Agricultural education programme. We grow tomatoes the whole year round through the green house programme which we sell to the school dining room and on the public market. The Young Farmers Club was privileged to show them around and explain what they learn from the different areas.
