When Muwanga jumped onto our bus we thought he was just one of the passengers riding with us on a trip to visit a farm set up by a youth within our area. Little did we know that we had met with our host until when we got to his farm.Muwanga has set up a simple model farm and at first sight you can write him off but as we embarked on the tour listening to him we realised that he was not a small mind and that he had accomplished a lot. In this article we bring you the several comments by many of the students on the tour so as to let you know the impact a youth farmer like Muwanga can make on other youth. We also hope that this page will also help and motivate other youth to engage in agriculture.
