The spectacular event took place on Saturday 5th October 2019 at Serene Hotel organized by the Class of 1991. It is one of the several initiatives organized by the Gayaza High School Old Students Association (GOGA) to raise funds for the construction of the Administration Block, which construction began in 2017.
The breathtaking event was graced by notable former students like the former minister for finance Maria Kiwanuka and many others. The beauty queens thronged Serene Hotel clad in black for a night of great memories down so many years as far as 1960.
The entertainment was legit. Janzi Band keeping everybody on their feet, spiced up by the melodious award-winning song birds; Sandra Suubi, Sanyu and Afrie Dom. All former students of the great institution. Then Racheal Magoola and Joanita Kawalya iced the cake. For sure Gayaza High School is Brand of its own caliber.
As we watched and danced to the wonderful music, and interacted with the old students over the years, we were inspired and encouraged to do more. Surely, a teacher affects eternity; you can never tell where his/her influence stops.
Thank you GOGA for giving back to Gayaza. Never Give up.
To all the sponsors we cant thank you enough. Thank you Mtn-Uganda, Century bottling Company Limited, Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited (UEGCL), Daily Monitor, NewVision, Kampala Serena, Spirit FM, Bob FM, Radio One and all other sponsors and well wishers that supported the cause.
