Headteacher, Gayaza High School
Mrs. Robinah Kizito, a proud alumna of Gayaza High School, assumed the role of Headteacher on 10th October 2019. A former student from 1982 to 1985 and house leader in Hutchinson House, she returned to the school community with a rich legacy of service and leadership in Ugandan education.
She began her teaching career at Gayaza High School in 1992 as a teacher of English Language and Literature. In 2006, she was appointed Acting Deputy Headteacher, a position she held until 2014. Her leadership journey continued at Makerere College School, where she served as Deputy Headteacher and Literature teacher. She later led Kitebi Secondary School as Headteacher until her appointment to head Gayaza High School in 2019.
Mrs. Kizito deeply values the Christian, moral, and academic foundation she received as a student at Gayaza, and remains committed to passing on those values to current and future generations of students. She embraces the school’s cultural and religious diversity, viewing it as a strength in shaping well-rounded learners.
As Headteacher, her vision is to preserve the proud heritage of Gayaza High School while nurturing excellence in character, academics, and service. Together with her colleagues, she continues to inspire young women to grow into confident and capable leaders.
