Invitation to Bidders

1. Gayaza High School has allocated funds to be used for the construction of a new classroom complex at GHS Phase 1.
2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above works.
3. Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the public. The Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act (the Act), Cap 205, and the Regulations made under the Act are open to all bidders.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address given below at 9(a) from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
5. The bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below at 9(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 200,000 (Uganda Shillings Two Hundred Thousand) only (Stanbic Bank, A/c Name: Gayaza High School, A/c No: 9030005991713). The method of payment will be through obtaining a bank slip from the bursar and paying at the designated bank with effect from 06th March, 2026. On presentation of proof of payment, bidding documents may then be collected from the Procurement and Disposal unit at the administration block with effect from 06th March, 2026.
6. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 67,400,000 (Uganda Shillings Sixty-Seven Million, Four Hundred Thousand only). Bid securities must be valid until 31st July, 2026.
7. Electronic bidding is not permitted. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 9(c) at or before 11:00 am on 27th March, 2026. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at Gayaza High School at 11:30am on 27th March, 2026.
8. There shall be a pre-bid meeting at Gayaza High School at 10:00 am on 13th March, 2026 the dates indicated in the proposed schedule in this notice.
